PIONEER
INDUSTRIES INTERNATIONAL (HOLDINGS) LTD The Company has been listed in the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong since 1970 (stock code: 224). Its current market capitalization is about HKD 850 million (USD 110 million). The outstanding shares issued are 502 million shares. The controlling shareholder of the Company is the Gaw Family. In late 1999, Messrs. Goodwin Gaw and Kenneth Gaw, the younger generation of the Gaw Family, began a major restructuring of the Company to meet the challenges of the New Economy by shifting its core business focus to the IT sector. The Company disposed of non-strategic assets through a partial privatization completed on 1 March 2000. On 25th May, 2000, a new name "Pioneer Global Group Limited" was introduced to better represent the new corporate focus. The new Pioneer Global Group has also reorganized its businesses into two strategic divisions. |

Pioneer iConcepts Pioneer iConcepts is the IT and Internet arm of Pioneer Global Group. Its mission is to develop innovative concepts into successful Internet and technology companies and to act as a bridge connecting traditional businesses to the new economy. Projects under development includes ERP systems solutions, B2B marketplace, intelligent map guide, warehouse inventory management and e-fulfillment system. Through its fully owned subsidiaries (Golden Joy Technology Limited, Fomax Limited, and Supreme Technology & Total Solutions Associates Limited), Pioneer iConcepts is able to provide function specific services to its customers. Fomax and Supreme are the leading developer and service providers in web-based geographical information systems ("GIS"). Golden Joy is an established provider of IT help desk, call center, and consultancy services to multinational and major local manufacturing companies. |

TELECOM
BUSINESS
Pioneer Global Communications Pioneer Global Communications is the telecommunications arm of Pioneer Global Group. Mr. Goodwin Gaw has a very successful record of developing and operating "TeleSites" (also known as carrier hotels) and is a market leader in the US. The Company is planning to develop the TeleSites business in the Pacific-rim region. A joint venture, Global gateway LP, is formed with Morgan Stanley Real Estate Funds to co-invest in the TeleSites business. The primary target locations of TeleSites will be gateway cities in Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Singapore and Western US. |
